I got the spire blend hoping it would work well as an italian style espresso and I am really impressed with it! It works really well with a proper espresso machine and grinder, it's thick and siroupy, chocolatey and moderately bitter.
This is my go to coffee. When I make an espresso it is like being transported to Milan. Great flavour and not bitter with thick crema.
Tried this along with underlying sublime and cattle market as a change from my usual supplier. Brewed it with my bean to cup machine and added to 3/4 mug of heated and frothed semi skimmed. This gave a robust flat white with good flavour and bite with an earthy aftertaste. 7.5 out of 10.
This is now my choice of coffee; the dark roast bean provides me my perfect cup of coffee when needed, featuring a wonderful, rich flavour that meets my taste needs from the White Rose Coffee Grinders. Perfecto, Gracias.
A very nice dark roast, especially for the price. Will definitely add to my rotation.
