Sweet red cherry notes, sweet elderflower floral, peach fruits.
Named for the city and growing region it comes from in Ethiopia, Yirga-Cheffe is a classic bean from the 'birthplace of coffee'. This coffee is grown using passively-organic agricultural methods in small family gardens. All plants on these farms are wild heirloom varietals.
Fully washed process. The cherries are hand-sorted and depulped in the late hours of the afternoon. The beans, covered in mucilage, are soaked in water tanks for around 48 hours, rinsed and dried on raised beds for up to 15 days.
All the bags we supply our roasted coffee in include a 1 Way valve for freshness, and Zip Lock so you can easily reseal them to keep the coffee fresh.
Our coffee bags are green - each coffee bag is recyclable, LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) – Recyclable plastic, just place it in your plastic recycling bin.
